About the position

The Applications Backend Developer will join the IT Applications team, focusing on managing and supporting the Digital Channel. This remote position emphasizes flexibility and is open to all eligible candidates. The role involves extending the capabilities of the AEM Assets system, implementing standardized processes, and contributing to backlog and sprint planning.

Responsibilities

• Owning, managing, configuring, and deploying the Digital Channel
• Extending the capabilities of the AEM Assets system
• Assisting in implementing standardized processes across the organization
• Contributing to backlog and sprint planning
• Testing and validating ad hoc support
• Providing comprehensive documentation

Requirements

• 3 years of experience using Adobe AEM and AEM Connector
• 5-7 years of experience developing scalable back-end solutions
• 4-year degree in Information Systems or an equivalent combination of course work and job experience
• Programming experience in Java/Golang/Scala/Python/C/C++, or similar
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience creating automated code migration/deployments
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise DevOps practices
• Experience in operational stability, technical hygiene strategies, and techniques
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Proactive in identifying and fixing issues
• Ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel

• Experience with JIRA/Confluence
