About the position

The Applications Backend Developer - IT Applications is responsible for managing and supporting the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) backlog, providing ad hoc support, and implementing new features into the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This role involves extending the capabilities of the AEM Assets system, assisting with best practices in configuration and implementation, and ensuring operational stability through comprehensive documentation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Own, manage, configure, deploy, and provide support to the Digital Channel.
• Extend the capabilities of the AEM Assets system.
• Provide best-practice assistance with configuration and implementation.
• Assist in implementing standardized processes across the organization.
• Participate in backlog and sprint planning.
• Test and validate new implementations.
• Provide ad hoc support as needed.
• Create comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience using Adobe AEM and AEM Connector.
• 5-7 years of experience developing scalable back-end solutions.
• 4-year degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Programming experience in Java, Golang, Scala, Python, C, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience creating automated code migration and deployments.
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise DevOps practices.
• Experience in operational stability and technical hygiene strategies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and fixing issues.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel.
• Proven experience in identifying and communicating engineering best practices.
