About the position
The Applications Developer 3 role at Oracle involves working as an individual contributor within the OAL Supply Chain Management and Service Cloud Solutions team. The primary focus is on implementing, customizing, enhancing, and testing various Oracle modules, including Field Service, Service Logistics, Inventory, and others. The position requires strong technical skills in various programming languages and frameworks, and it plays a crucial role in driving the architecture and design of mission-critical applications to support Oracle's SCM and Field Service cloud business.
Responsibilities
- Implement, customize, enhance, and test Oracle Field Service, Service Logistics, Inventory, BOM/ENG, and PIM modules.
- Support OAL Cloud related Framework using Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration.
- Drive the architecture and design of mission-critical applications for Oracle's SCM and Field Service cloud business.
- Collaborate with Oracle's Product Development and Business User groups to learn applications technology and functional business processes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in coding, debugging, and testing skills in Java, JavaScript, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database and development tools.
- Functional and technical understanding of Oracle Applications in Field Service, Inventory, and Supply Chain Management modules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with technical aptitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of OJet, AI/ML, Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS), and Python.
