About the position

The Applications Developer - Lead Associate role involves providing enterprise IT infrastructure and legacy applications maintenance support to an Intelligence Community (IC) customer. The position focuses on operations and maintenance, enhancements to legacy applications, and ensuring compliance with security and operational standards. The developer will work with both front-end and back-end technologies, contributing to the improvement and functionality of web-based applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operations and maintenance support for enterprise IT infrastructure and legacy applications.
  • Enhance legacy applications by implementing bug fixes and adding new functionalities.
  • Collaborate with teams to procure hardware and software as needed.
  • Support disaster recovery efforts and compliance-related audits.
  • Utilize automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Work within a Linux-based environment, utilizing command line and shell scripting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or 3 years with a Master's/MA, or 0 years with a PhD.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
  • Strong Java programming skills for web-based applications.
  • Proficiency in front-end and back-end languages such as Apache/Tomcat, JavaScript, Springboot, TypeScript, Python, and Java.
  • Basic knowledge of server-side languages and database technologies, including SQL and AWS managed DB services.
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible and Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with work collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of network administration and security protocols across various domains.
  • Experience with Intelligence Community, Homeland Security, or Law Enforcement applications.
  • Familiarity with security domains related to IC, DoD, DHS, or FBI.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $112,000 - $179,000 based on experience and other factors.
