About the position

The Senior Applications Developer will be responsible for the design, development, delivery, and enhancement of Client-Server, Web-Based, Cloud-Based, and Mobile Software Applications using Microsoft .NET Technologies, ASP, and C#. This role involves troubleshooting production issues, implementing system enhancements, and collaborating with business analysts to improve efficiency in the ERAP application. The developer will also mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to programming standards and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.
• Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
• Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
• Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
• Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
• Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration, and testing tools.
• Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Acts as team leader on projects, instructing, assigning, directing, and checking the work of other software developers on the development team.
• Participates in the development of software user manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• 11 years of experience troubleshooting production problems related to software applications.
• Proven experience in IT field with focus on technical reporting, system setup, data analysis, and analytics.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2010 and later versions with .Net Framework 2.0-4.6.2 with C# and VB.
• Experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies within a distributed (n-tier) architecture.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience developing enterprise applications that interact with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.
• Strong ETL experience in Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence platforms (experience with ETL Tools like SSIS/Informatica/DataStage).
• Experience in developing applications using C#, ASP.NET.
• Experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end (e.g., Cognos)/back-end programming languages (e.g., SQL).
• Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Service Oriented Architecture.
• Experience using LINQ (Language-integrated Query) in previous projects.
• Experience with JIRA/Bugzilla/HP ALM tools.
• Experience with Databases using ADO.NET.
