About the position

G.A. Richards is seeking an energetic and creative Application Developer to join their team. This role involves developing web-based applications that automate business processes across the organization, addressing both external customer needs and internal system requirements. The position requires a full-stack developer who can design and develop programs that enhance manufacturing operations and effectively communicate application requirements with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop computer programs that automate specific business processes.
• Develop applications that impact all aspects of manufacturing operations.
• Discuss and document application requirements with internal and external customers.
• Prepare flow charts and write application instructions and procedures for users.
• Debug and document programs.
• Assist lower-level developers with the design and development of business applications.
• Support senior developers in the development of more complex programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• 2-4 years of experience in a business environment.
• Experience transforming business requirements into technical design.
• Knowledge of manufacturing environments.
• EDI experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with jQuery.
• Familiarity with AWS and Laravel Forge.
