About the position

The Applications Developer at RES Exhibits will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of applications, particularly focusing on Infor's Syteline manufacturing management system. This position is essential as the company anticipates significant growth and transformation in 2025. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing applications while ensuring effective communication with the leadership team and providing support to business users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test applications in accordance with established standards.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, and build estimates.
• Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
• Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on budget.
• Provide third-level support to business users.
• Provide training and education for end users on network operations, applications, and usage.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Syteline manufacturing management system and respond to trouble tickets in a timely manner.
• Assist business users in defining report requirements to obtain accurate and timely information.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience with C#.NET.
• 3-5 years experience with MS SQL or related RDBMS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relevant discipline preferred.
• 3-5 years of software engineering and applications development experience in an entrepreneurial company.

Nice-to-haves

• Recent experience with Mongoose RAD framework preferred.
• Experience with Infor Syteline v9, v10 is preferred.
• Experience with ASP.NET a plus.
• Experience with Visual SourceSafe or other source control programs a plus.
