About the position

The Applications Developer Oracle position involves analyzing, designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for commercial or end-user applications. The role requires collaboration with the software engineering division to perform detailed design based on specifications, assist in system planning, and enhance existing applications by building new features and resolving bugs. The developer will also be responsible for writing code, performing testing, and ensuring the consistency and portability of products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end-user applications.
• Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications.
• Perform detailed design based on provided design or external specifications.
• Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation.
• Analyze system specifications and existing business processes and information systems.
• Build enhancements (including new product features) and resolve bugs.
• Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans.
• Review integration and regression test plans created by QA.
• Communicate and interact with QA and porting engineering as necessary.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Java/J2EE programming experience.
• Front-end Web Applications Development experience.
• Proficiency in Oracle Database and SQL.
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Tomcat and Kafka.
• Strong skills in Object Oriented Software Analysis and Design.
• Experience in debugging applications and fixing performance issues.
• Ability to write unit tests and execute test plans.
