This position is for an Applications Developer who will be responsible for supporting the configuration of all aspects of the FASTDS-VS® COTS application. The selected candidate will engage in various tasks including requirement gathering and analysis, application configuration, reference table configurations, and setting up user access permissions for different functions. The role also involves application development for change requests, scripting, software debugging, source control, application testing, and preparing implementation specifications. Additionally, the candidate will provide production application support as needed. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of different software development methodologies, including both traditional and Agile approaches. This role requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in fields such as Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, or Mathematics. Candidates should have at least two years of experience with SQL databases and object-oriented development using languages such as .Net, Java, C#, or VB. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in the MS Office Suite and a working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, and coding best practices. Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn are highly valued in this position. Preferred qualifications include experience with web services, familiarity with APIs, experience with AWS, and knowledge of SQL stored procedures. Candidates must be compliant with Georgia tax obligations and will undergo a background check. All employees will be fingerprinted, and candidates must be local to the Metro Atlanta area. A Tax Clearance Letter is required at the time of submission.
