About the position

The Applications Developer at Red Rock Government Services is responsible for maintaining existing legacy applications and facilitating the transition to a new system architecture. Responsibilities

• Maintain existing legacy applications and facilitate the transition to a new system architecture.
• Develop, implement, and maintain complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application functionality.
• Work within an Agile development environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Utilize version control systems like GitHub for managing code changes.
• Implement continuous integration and delivery processes using Jenkins.
• Manage projects and track issues using JIRA.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong preference for Java proficiency.
• Proven expertise in Java and JavaScript programming languages.
• Experience with client-server architecture applications.
• Proficient in developing complex functions and scripts for application support.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with version control using GitHub.
• Proficient in using Jenkins for CI/CD.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of ElasticSearch and the ELK stack for data analytics and logging.
• Understanding of the Sponsor's Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) process.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.
• Experience with the C# programming language.
