About the position

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Applications Development Expert to join our team. This role focuses on utilizing advanced technologies to drive transformation in mission-critical services, particularly in the Utility sector. The expert will be responsible for architecting solutions that incorporate AI, Machine Learning, IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, and multi-cloud environments, while collaborating with both business and technical teams to ensure systems meet business requirements, performance, and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal applications, integrations, and web services while optimizing applications across all platforms.
• Ensure project, support, and operational goals are met, leading teams and coordinating activities.
• Oversee code updates and collaborate with colleagues on software development.
• Interact with various stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Translate business requirements into functional application specifications.
• Identify opportunities for improving user experience and create architecture and design documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least ten (10) years of professional job-related experience with a bachelor's degree or eight (8) years with a master's degree.
• Experience managing a portfolio of complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders or businesses.
• Expert knowledge and experience in SQL queries and database design.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in test-driven development.
• Experience with multi-tiered applications, databases, LDAP and directory services, application servers, and network infrastructure.
• Understanding of security and data flow within these components.
• Expert skills in developing architecture diagrams and technical designs.
• Experience ensuring business engineering standards are applied in projects.
