About the position

The Applications Development Expert at Delmock Technologies, Inc. (DTI) is responsible for architecting and developing innovative technology solutions that drive digital transformation in mission-critical services. This role involves collaborating with technical and business teams to ensure that applications meet performance and security standards while optimizing user experience across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal applications, integrations, and web services while optimizing applications across all platforms.
• Ensure project, support, and operational goals are met, leading teams and coordinating activities.
• Oversee code updates, collaborate with colleagues on software development, and interact with various stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional application specifications, identify opportunities for improving user experience, and create architecture and design documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least ten (10) years of professional job-related experience with a bachelor's degree or eight (8) years with a master's degree.
• Experience managing a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple stakeholders or businesses.
• Expert knowledge and experience in SQL queries and database design.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic work environment.
• Experience in test-driven development.
• Experience with multi-tiered applications, databases, LDAP and directory services, application servers, network infrastructure, and understanding security and dataflow within these components.
• Expert skills in developing architecture diagrams and technical designs.
• Experience ensuring that business engineering standards are applied by all parties involved in projects and deliveries.
