About the position

The Applications Development Sr Programmer Analyst at Citibank, N.A. is responsible for producing Angular code for the CTI Angular Library, ensuring adherence to Citi's development standards and best practices. This role involves reviewing project backlogs, developing UI components, maintaining a Storybook repository, and conducting code reviews. The position emphasizes collaboration, knowledge transfer, and the establishment of corporate standards for the Angular library, all while working in a hybrid telecommuting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Produce Angular Code for the CTI Angular Library within standards and best practices.
  • Review backlog of Jira Projects to set priority for development.
  • Develop pages and components in Angular that conform to the CTI component library.
  • Draft and submit supporting documentation for each component.
  • Build and maintain Storybook repository for UI development.
  • Submit UI Angular components to the component library.
  • Extend components for Storybook testing through publication.
  • Test components' usability in playground environment.
  • Establish, maintain and set corporate standards for Angular library.
  • Draft responses to submitted components.
  • Lead review and knowledge transfer regarding adherence to best practices.
  • Perform code review and deployments.
  • Submit code for review and attend team code reviews.
  • Modify code as needed based on reviews.
  • Check for build pipeline after code is merged to environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience with Angular.
  • Experience designing and developing enterprise web applications using Typescripts, SCSS, HTML, and Material UI components in Angular.
  • Experience implementing and testing Angular web applications for efficiency across various browsers and devices.
  • Experience working on Jenkins for Continuous Integration and OpenShift for container orchestration.
  • Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues using Dynatrace, Grafana, and Splunk.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including user story grooming and sprint planning.
  • Experience utilizing source code control management tools including Bit Bucket, Sub version, and GIT.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree and 3 years of experience in a related field.
