About the position

Our work catalyzes the transition toward a more sustainable future and showcases our commitment to addressing water's role in climate adaptation. Aquatech immediately needs a full-time Applications Engineer to work in our Hartland, WI office. The hours of this position are Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to understand and define their key process performance needs
  • Develop creative process designs incorporating evaporation and crystallization technology
  • Author technical proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and accurately define process performance
  • Prepare cost estimates for the proposed equipment scope
  • Participate in client meetings with the sales team as a technical expert
  • Create and deliver technical content to support business development initiatives
  • Participate in pilot testing programs for process validation
  • Complete engineering activities including heat & material balances, process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams, equipment sizing calculations, dimensional designs for pressure vessels and heat exchangers, and plant equipment layout
  • Collaborate with engineering teams during project execution, procurement, and start-up

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree or related field equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude
  • Possess strong mechanical aptitude
