About the position

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Applications Engineer to support the development, execution, and sustainment of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). This role involves contributing to the connected factory framework and developing applications that support the LM Digital Factory. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a background in programming, software, or data science.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Contribute to the connected factory framework.
• Develop applications for the LM Digital Factory.
• Engage in complex problem solving related to engineering tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, software engineering, data science, or other STEM related degree.
• Experience or knowledge in complex problem solving and programming.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Background in software, programming, and/or data science.
• Experience with systems engineering and/or project management.
