The engineer will be responsible for generating conceptual solutions, managing the proposal design process, and ensuring technical alignment with sales and management teams.
Responsibilities
- Generate conceptual solutions for problems that have no previous or standard solution
- Interact with customers throughout requirements definition, concept generation, cost development, and presentation of the proposal
- Develop a comprehensive quote package that addresses all customer requirements and leverages JR Automation
- Collaborate with the functional sales and management teams to ensure technical alignment
- Present concepts to customers highlighting competitive advantages
- Manage the internal proposal design process
- Interface with Salesforce.com
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or related industry experience
- 5+ years of industry experience leading successful projects, preferably in the automation industry
- Experience in quoting, sales, and/or customer interaction
