About the position

The Applications Sales Engineer III at Daikin Applied is responsible for providing technical expertise on company products to sales representatives, assisting in the selection and application of products to meet specific field requirements. This role involves developing strategies to effectively position products in the marketplace, interacting with customers to demonstrate product value, and providing leadership within the Marketing Applications organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, accurate support to sales representative inquiries regarding special applications, systems or pricing
• Process requests for modifications or options and other general information not covered by published pricing
• Stay informed on new products and competitive models in the marketplace
• Communicate suggested modifications to the company's products/services to meet customer requirements
• Provide feedback to product management for product services requirements not met by current product line
• Assist in preparing technical literature for internal and field application
• Participate in product training of sales representatives and customers
• Provide leadership and direction within Marketing Applications organization
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Engineering or related technical field from four-year college or university
• Five+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
