About the position

The position involves assisting in the development, testing, and implementation of core Java application systems within Cat Financial, a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc. The role focuses on coding, troubleshooting, and providing technical documentation for application systems, contributing to the overall goal of creating innovative financial solutions for customers globally.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing, coding, testing, and troubleshooting computer programs for relatively straightforward or small projects.
• Assist in preparing technical and procedural documentation required in application system development.
• Provide detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for simple application programs.
• Contribute solutions for programming system operations, including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.

Requirements

• 4 year degree in a relevant field
• 5 years experience in the Finance or Banking industry
• Core Java full stack development experience
• Proficiency in JSP, XSLT, JavaScript, and Python
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with application design methodologies
• Familiarity with system integration initiatives
• Knowledge of system testing strategies and tactics
