About the position

As a new graduate Application Engineer at Monolithic Power Systems, Inc., you will serve as a vital technical liaison in the field, providing support to customers in the design and application of the company's innovative semiconductor products. Your role will involve troubleshooting system applications at the request of customers and resolving various engineering issues related to system applications. This position is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting while gaining valuable experience in the semiconductor industry. In this role, you will evaluate customer requirements concerning system applications and administer the technical, technological, and functional aspects of proposals as instructed. You will also participate in various seminars, conferences, and meetings to promote MPS and represent the company in the field. This position not only allows you to work closely with customers but also to collaborate with a motivated and well-coordinated team, contributing to the overall success of the company. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical liaison to support customers in the design and application of the company's products.
  • Troubleshoot system applications on customer requests and resolve engineering issues regarding systems application.
  • Evaluate customer requirements regarding systems application and administer technical, technological, and functional aspects of proposals accordingly.
  • Participate in seminars, conferences, and meetings to promote MPS and represent the company in the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
  • Hands-on experience in analog power management electronics, DCDC converter design & implementation, and passive selection is preferred but not mandatory (fresh graduates are welcome).
  • Good understanding of schematics and layouts (PCB design tools) and experience with laboratory equipment to analyze analog circuits.
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
