About the position

Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. (ISSI) is seeking an Applications Engineer to manage the technical and reliability standards related to the design materials and techniques for electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry of products on the customer side. This role involves managing application engineering for SRAM, DRAM, ANALOG, and FLASH products, as well as creating reference designs for various chipset companies. The ideal candidate will work closely with both internal and external customers to ensure effective use of our products, utilizing various development boards and motherboards to validate product performance. The Applications Engineer will be responsible for publishing application notes, magazine articles, and reference designs to promote our products. Additionally, the role requires researching emerging applications to maintain a current understanding of future products, collaborating with R&D and Product Marketing to define new products, and developing technical presentations for training customers and the field sales force on our products. Providing technical training for representatives and customers is also a key responsibility of this position. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of SRAM, DRAM, FLASH products.
  • Strong understanding of software structures and usage of memory products at the application level.
  • Knowledge of SOC (ARM core, FPGA) and SDK to bring up the development board.
  • Strong customer presentation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivator with a strong drive to achieve business objectives.
  • Proficient in analysis, simulation, and design using engineering tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface, coordinate, and work effectively with all levels and other departments.
