About the position

The Manufacturing Systems Applications Engineer Sr Stf is responsible for planning, developing, and integrating advanced manufacturing technologies to address technical manufacturing challenges and guide the evolution of Manufacturing Systems. This role involves investigating production operations systems, improving fabrication and assembly processes, and collaborating with IT architects to implement digital transformation solutions. The position also includes project management responsibilities and requires effective communication with senior management and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute the planning, development, and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Investigate and gather information on production operations systems.
• Analyze customer problems and create new production processes.
• Coordinate capability solutions for manufacturing digital transformation.
• Communicate requirements to IT architects and present solutions to core process owners.
• Guide the successful completion of major projects in a technical project management role.
• Participate in the development, documentation, training, and deployment of new Production Operations Business Processes.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Design systems and their manufacturing applications.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications such as TeamCenter or 3DX.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), Process Plan, Tooling, and Configuration Management.
• Experience in Aerospace manufacturing systems and business processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a semi-virtual team.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Experience in process development across multiple systems.
• Familiarity with Model Based Engineering and Digital Transformation.
• Proficiency in CATIA, 3DX, DELMIA, Teamcenter, and Xcelerator.
