Additionally, the Applications Engineer will travel within North America to engage with partners and gain insights into industry challenges, contributing to diverse markets such as construction, automotive, and renewable energy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to develop solutions using bonding, sealing, and protection materials.
• Work closely with commercial, manufacturing, and R&D teams to assess existing solutions and initiate new product development.
• Conduct application-specific testing and validate products against certification requirements.
• Review customer or industry specifications and communicate compliance or exceptions needed for solutions.
• Provide training on the implementation of solutions to customers.
• Travel within North America to engage with partners and understand industry challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Aerospace or Engineering and Management) required.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) required.
• Ability to interact with customers and management at all levels required.

Nice-to-haves

• Work or projects that display innovative thinking or stakeholder consideration beyond stated goals preferred.
• Internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Experience in customer-facing roles such as technical support or technical sales preferred.
• Experience using statistical tools for process capability analysis preferred.
• Experience with Problem Solving Methodology - Root Cause Analysis/FMEA preferred.
