About the position

The Applications Engineer will play a crucial role in implementing advanced 3D Measurement Systems and providing expert training and sales support. This position involves collaborating with the sales team to deliver tailored solutions, engaging with customers for pre-sale and post-sale support, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while continuously improving knowledge of industry advancements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the sales team to offer pre-sale technical support through detailed time studies and process simulations.
• Drive turnkey projects by recommending and implementing solutions, working closely with vendors to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
• Engage directly with customers during pre-sale visits, fostering open communication and providing post-sale support, including training on equipment operation and programming.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements, continually updating knowledge of tools, equipment, and methodologies to provide best-in-class service to customers.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety awareness and compliance while performing assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

• Proficient in GD&T, CAD, CMMs, VMMs, CT X-ray, and Dimensional Metrology, with experience in programming language and macros.
• Previous experience in a 3D Spatial Awareness environment, with a strong understanding of programming language and macros.
• Ability to create time studies, conduct process simulations, and recommend solutions based on customer needs and documentation.
• Thrive in a collaborative environment, interacting positively and professionally with colleagues, customers, and vendors to achieve common goals.
• Possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks, with a commitment to meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
