About the position

The Entry Level Electrical Engineer position at Actalent is designed for a skilled Application Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. This role is essential for the design and development of high-quality solutions that align with customer specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical experience in electrical engineering, particularly in power systems, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering innovative and reliable products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer specifications and requirements to design equipment that meet their specific needs and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with design engineers and project managers to develop practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Prepare customer Product Costing with in-house tools.
• Manage time for various activities related to the quotation process.
• Coordinate efforts between the design and manufacturing departments regarding customer needs.
• Serve as the technical liaison between the company and customers, ensuring clear communication of specifications and expectations.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and documentation, ensuring compliance with both internal and external requirements.
• Share the quotation package with the Project Management Office in case of an order and complete system entry for the order.

Requirements

• Experience in AutoCAD, electrical engineering, and CAD design.
• Proven project management skills.
• Proficiency in technical sales and application engineering.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical power systems, particularly in design.
• Thorough understanding of industry regulations and safety standards pertaining to electrical and power engineering.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly and concisely.
• 0-1 years of electrical engineering design experience.
