About The Position

The Applications Engineer at NOV is responsible for providing technical expertise and support for HPS products, focusing on the timely acceptance and return of large technical RFQs and bid packages for both national and international applications. Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and expertise in the selection, sizing, and application of horizontal pumps for specific projects.
• Handle the timely acceptance and return of large technical RFQs and bid packages.
• Work closely with clients, sales teams, and project managers to define project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
• Design pump systems according to customer specifications, customizing standard pumps or developing new solutions as needed.
• Oversee or coordinate the testing and validation of pump systems to ensure they meet performance standards before delivery.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, installation instructions, and maintenance guidelines.
• Provide regular reports on project progress and any potential issues.
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and resolve any issues that arise during the selection or operation of the pumps.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies, materials, and methods in pump design and application.
