About the position

The Applications Engineer at Continuous Composites will serve as a technical point of contact for customers, helping to identify application fits and guiding them through the sales cycle. This role involves developing and educating customers on Continuous Fiber 3D Printing (CF3D) technology, while also acquiring hands-on technical knowledge and collaborating with the sales and development teams to drive industry adoption of composite components.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and sales team to identify application fit and develop optimized build strategies for CF3D and customer objectives.
• Collaborate with customers to draft statements of work using CF3D.
• Present progress updates and final reports to the customer.
• Support current and new customers with technical support, regular meetings, and creative solutions.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to gain security clearance if necessary
• Bachelor's degree, minimum 3 years related experience
• Knowledge or interest in Ceramic Matrix Composites is ideal
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Proven experience developing proposals and completing projects
• Excellent personal management and organizational skills
• Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
• Excellent Computer Aided Design (CAD) skills
