About the position

The Application Engineer will play a crucial role in the engineering team of a global ventilation manufacturer, focusing on both commercial and industrial facilities. This position involves engaging with customers from the initial request through to design and product implementation, ensuring high-quality air solutions. The role emphasizes collaboration with various departments to meet customer needs and enhance product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Generate engineering quotes for customer needs
• Create special designs or modify standard designs for customers
• Collaborate with manufacturing, customer service, and purchasing to ensure product quality and delivery
• Visit customer sites as required for installation or troubleshooting
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline
• Experience with CAD software in mechanical design
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sheet metal design and manufacturing

Benefits

• Base salary up to 75K/yr, depending on experience
