About the position

This position involves equipment selection, aggregate flow analysis, drafting, and conceptual proposal development, as well as preparing quotes for equipment and plants. The role also includes assisting with equipment and plant startups and participating in plant optimization studies. The job requires a strong knowledge base in various fields, particularly in crushing, screening, and conveying.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application
• Travel to customer sites for bid proposal discussions
• Perform field measuring duties, along with gathering survey data
• Listen, understand, and convey customer requirements
• Perform aggregate flow analyses and plant optimization studies, while making recommendations
• Develop conceptual drawings
• Produce scopes of work for contractor bid purposes, including concrete/construction/electrical
• Develop internal cost estimates and bid proposals for external customers
• Basic timeline and schedule development
• Form and maintain relationships with both vendors and customers
• Maintain an overall safe work environment
• Maintain and understand internal estimate form
• Assist Contract Crushing and Rental Divisions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Knowledge of industry terminology for equipment, parts, and processes
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to use 2D/3D CAD software, AutoCAD/Inventor preferred
• Ability to use process simulation software, including AggFlow and/or Bruno
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and other software
