About the position

The Applications Engineer will play a crucial role in implementing advanced 3D Measurement Systems and providing expert training and sales support. This position involves collaborating with the sales team to deliver tailored solutions, engaging with customers for pre-sale and post-sale support, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide pre-sale technical support through detailed time studies and process simulations.
• Drive turnkey projects by recommending and implementing solutions, working closely with vendors to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
• Engage directly with customers during pre-sale visits, fostering open communication and providing post-sale support, including training on equipment operation and programming.
• Stay updated on industry advancements to provide best-in-class service to customers.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety awareness and compliance while performing assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

• Proficient in GD&T, CAD, CMMs, VMMs, CT X-ray, and Dimensional Metrology.
• Experience in programming language and macros.
• Previous experience in a 3D Spatial Awareness environment.
• Ability to create time studies and conduct process simulations.
