About the position

The Applications Integration Engineer at Bridgeway Benefit Technologies is responsible for analyzing, synthesizing, and documenting data feeds to create a master data model within the enterprise application ecosystem. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to facilitate process improvements, system development, and application support, while ensuring alignment with the company's goals. The position requires strong technical skills, autonomy, and a self-starter mentality, with a focus on understanding system interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Gain and maintain a deep understanding of Bridgeway's commercial enterprise solutions.
  • Assess user needs, identify organizational needs, and recommend solutions to meet those needs.
  • Identify and gather requirements for areas of improvement and quality assurance checks with enterprise system integrations.
  • Collaborate with internal IT and vendor partners as the technical lead on enterprise systems integrations, new feature projects, and enhancements.
  • Analyze the disparate systems and create an enterprise data model that clearly defines authoritative data sources.
  • Improve the flow of information throughout the Bridgeway ecosystem, while enforcing adherence to the enterprise data model.
  • Develop application specifications, including flowcharts and diagrams.
  • Create integrations within the current ecosystem to ensure effective data flow.
  • Perform routine system upgrades.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for applications once they are installed.
  • Integrate new applications into the existing ecosystem as needed.
  • Provide reporting and analysis based on data insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity are recorded in the proper repository.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in information technology required.
  • 2+ years' experience integrating software using APIs and webhooks.
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining applications and user accounts.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of scripting practices, integration development, and data conversion.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or Management of Information Systems.
