About the position

The Applications Operations Analyst role involves managing customer payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial records. This position requires effective communication with customers and internal teams, along with strong data analytics skills, particularly in Excel and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments.
• Research and reconcile customer accounts including unapplied payments, misapplications, and billing errors.
• Record write-offs to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with customers, internal and external, in a professional manner through several mediums of communication.
• Conduct data analytics using Excel and SQL reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL operations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to solve numerical problems.
• Experience with applications related to cash application is a plus.
• Familiarity with D365 is a plus.
• International experience is a major plus.
