About the position

As an Applications Project Manager & Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Supply Chain & Manufacturing sites. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the business to assess new applications, select the appropriate solutions, and implement them effectively. Additionally, you will focus on improving existing applications, including managing upgrades and ensuring that they meet the evolving needs of the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of application management, particularly in the context of Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations. In this role, you will manage various projects that involve application upgrades and patching, as well as addressing cybersecurity vulnerabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that all application improvements align with cybersecurity principles and segregation of duties knowledge. Your expertise will be essential in supporting application users across North America, providing them with the necessary guidance and assistance to optimize their use of applications. Furthermore, you will serve as a technical subject matter expert, assisting the business in various cross-functional projects by providing your application knowledge. Your ability to communicate effectively and troubleshoot issues will be vital in ensuring the success of these initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Manage projects involving application upgrades and patching.
  • Mitigate cybersecurity vulnerabilities related to applications.
  • Support application users within the Supply Chain and Manufacturing domain for North America.
  • Provide application knowledge within various cross-functional projects.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for application-related inquiries.

Requirements

  • 5+ years supporting and implementing large applications in the Supply Chain and Manufacturing domain.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS SQL and SSIS.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot application issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Document Management Systems, Advanced Scheduling, or Demand Planning.
  • Solid working knowledge of Linux OS.
