About the position

The Applied Machine Learning Engineer at Furniture.com will leverage advanced machine learning techniques to develop innovative solutions that enhance business operations and customer experiences in the furniture industry. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement machine learning operations at scale, ensuring the delivery of impactful business solutions while fostering a creative and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and productionize machine learning models to provide business enhancements and solve challenges.
• Frame machine learning problems to enable business value and create proof-of-concepts.
• Create scalable processes for optimal model performance, including training, deploying, and monitoring models.
• Assist in creating machine learning operations strategies and solutions using Databricks.
• Deliver machine learning projects from inception to completion, including business case definition and model integrations.
• Translate business requirements into data stories.
• Maintain analytics data systems and databases.
• Use statistical analysis to interpret data, focusing on trends and patterns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, Numpy, Pandas, PyTorch).
• Experience and interest in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
