About The Position

GENZ RYAN IS HIRING AN APPRENTICE ELECTRICIAN! The Apprentice Electrician will work alongside our licensed electricians to learn the ropes of the trade in the residential service industry! Your core purpose is to work in and around the Twin Cities servicing residential homeowners with furnace and A/C hookups that our HVAC team installs. Additionally, you will install electrical wiring, switches, fixtures and items that require electrical power, perform repairs, inspections, and testing of various electrical components.

Requirements

• A positive, 'can-do' attitude with a CUSTOMER SERVICE and SELLING mindset!
• Valid Driver's License and be at least 18 years of age.
• Education in the electrical field is highly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team oriented, Highly motivated, self-starter.
• Willing and able to accept and embrace change.

Responsibilities

• Complete general electrical in-home residential calls.
• Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments, troubleshoot if necessary.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
