Assists with the duties of apprentice lineman.
Trims tree limbs obstructing and endangering electric lines.
Performs 'on-call' duty after hours and on weekends and holidays; identifies problems and repairs electrical distribution system or telecommunications lines.
Assists lineworker in job duties.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
Course work in electrical line repair and construction.
More than two years of progressively responsible related experience.
Apprentice Line Training and certification preferred but not required.
ITS (Substation) Certification preferred.
CDL Class B preferred.
