About The Position

Halco is seeking a highly skilled AppSheet Developer to join their dynamic team on a part-time basis, approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to increase to full-time for the right candidate. The role requires an expert-level understanding of AppSheet and general business methods, including Sales & Marketing, Purchasing/Inventory, and Finance. The position allows for expansion into other areas of the business, making it ideal for candidates with additional experience in website development, SEO, and CAD design.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in AppSheet development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• In-depth knowledge of handling unusual and complex cases within AppSheet.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a best practices approach to AppSheet development.
• Ability to work effectively with all aspects of Google Workspace and Microsoft apps such as Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Reliable and able to commit to a weekly schedule of 20 hours with availability for weekly team meetings.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in website development and SEO (e.g., WordPress).
• Experience in CAD design.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an existing AppSheet system for 20+ users used for day-to-day operations including Quoting and Sales, Customer service and order entry, Purchasing & Inventory, In-house manufacturing/Production, and Shipping/Receiving and Finance.
• Develop new AppSheet applications from scratch according to specific requirements.
• Update and maintain existing AppSheet applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Work collaboratively with Halco management to develop the system for future business growth.
• Participate in weekly meetings to discuss, review, and prioritize projects.
• Implement best practices in AppSheet development, advising on what works best and optimizing existing processes.
