About the position

The Java FullStack Developer with React JS role at Apptad involves developing and maintaining client-side mobile applications and games using Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript. The developer will work collaboratively with global teams to deliver defined goals and participate in after-business hours calls as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client-side mobile applications and games.
• Design and articulate complex technical solutions effectively.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation.
• Implement software development methodologies such as TDD, BDD, and Unit Testing.
• Utilize continuous delivery, integration, and build technologies.
• Collaborate with global teams for status updates and guidance.
• Participate in after business hours calls as per business need.

Requirements

• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript with a deep understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Exceptional technical writing skills.
• Hands-on experience in developing client-side mobile applications and games.
• Strong knowledge of Spring development frameworks.
• Working experience with MongoDB.
• Experience with RESTful Web Services on client and server.
• Strong experience with NPM, Jest, Webpack, and other build tools.
• Good understanding of web optimization techniques.
• Proficient problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Git, preferably GitLab.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, XP, Kanban).
• Knowledge of JUnit and functional testing.
