About the position

The Aquatics Facility Manager at SPIRE Institute & Academy is responsible for overseeing aquatics programming and event management within a comprehensive athletic and wellness complex. This role involves collaborating with facilities and event staff to ensure the smooth operation of aquatic events, maintaining high standards of service, and fostering customer relationships to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of aquatics programming with a focus on event management.
• Work with facilities and events teams to build long-term customer relationships.
• Assist with day-to-day supervision of lifeguards.
• Act as Meet Director at SPIRE Run events.
• Utilize Colorado timing and Hytek Scoreboard Software for events.
• Assist in camps, training, and clinic programs during the off-season.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Uphold SPIRE standards and reputation in the industry.

Requirements

• Three to five years of aquatics event experience.
• Swim Meet and Team Management knowledge.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Registered with USA Swim for officiating.
• Technology savvy and able to troubleshoot.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background screening.
• CPR, AED, Lifeguard, and First Aid certified.
• General computer knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
