About the position

The Aquatic Events Manager at SPIRE Institute & Academy is responsible for overseeing the management of aquatics programming with a strong focus on event management. This role involves collaborating with the facilities team and event staff to build long-term customer relationships, ensuring the successful execution of various aquatic events, and maintaining the high standards of SPIRE in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of aquatics programming with a focus on event management.
• Work with facilities team and event staff to build long-term customer relationships.
• Assist with day-to-day supervision of lifeguards.
• Meet Director at SPIRE Run events and manage timing and scoreboard software.
• Assist in camps, training, and clinics during the off-season.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Ensure compliance with SPIRE standards and reputation.

Requirements

• Three to five years of aquatics event experience.
• Knowledge of Swim Meet and Team Management.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Registered with USA Swim for Officiating.
• Technology savvy and able to troubleshoot.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background screening.
• CPR, AED, Lifeguard, and First Aid Certified.
• General computer knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
