About the position

The Aquatics Supervisor at Great Wolf is responsible for overseeing the lifeguard team, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests at the waterpark. This role focuses on enhancing the waterpark experience through effective training, supervision, and a commitment to safety and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the training, supervision, and coordination of lifeguards with park management to ensure guest safety.
• Manage lifeguards in the assigned area, enforcing established rules and maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Follow and enforce park and employee rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Perform supervisory tasks including conflict resolution, coaching, and promoting teamwork.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice-to-haves

• Good oral communication skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a team-oriented approach.
• 2+ years of experience in aquatics operation, including lifeguarding, lifeguard training, swim instruction, and CPO/AFO.
