About the position

As an AR/AP Specialist at Compass Senior Living, you will play a crucial role in our mission to revolutionize senior living by combining compassion with innovation. You will be the point of contact for vendor invoices, ensuring that payments are made on time and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze financial records will be key in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations. In addition to your financial responsibilities, you will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service to team members, customers, vendors, and partners. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work under tight deadlines while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances. You will need to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Your strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks will be essential in managing your workload effectively. Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain records of expenditures.
  • Process payments for company credit cards.
  • Respond to vendor invoices, ensuring payments are made on time.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company.
  • Post payments to customer accounts and process automated payments.
  • Analyze financial records for accuracy.
  • Provide extraordinary customer service to team members, customers, vendors, and partners.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with a critical eye for accuracy.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with flexibility.
  • Experience dealing with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues.
  • Understanding of accounting and management reporting systems.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team setting.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations.
