About the position

FHI Heat is seeking a skilled and organized Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) Associate to join our team in Simi Valley. This full-time position plays a critical role in the daily financial operations of the company, focusing on processing vendor invoices, managing customer payments, and ensuring accurate account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, with a strong background in large ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Responsibilities

• Processing vendor invoices and ensuring they are coded correctly.
• Preparing and posting customer invoices to maintain accurate records.
• Reconciling accounts, handling discrepancies, and following up with vendors and customers as needed.
• Managing payments, ensuring timely payment of bills, and overseeing collections of customer payments.
• Reviewing and approving expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Generating and analyzing AP/AR aging reports to identify outstanding payments or issues that need to be addressed.
• Assisting with month-end closing activities, such as preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Collaborating with internal departments to resolve invoicing or payment issues.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Experience with large ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Strong account reconciliation skills.
