About the position

The Accounts Receivable Associate at BasicBlock plays a crucial role in ensuring timely payments from brokers and carriers, contributing to the company's mission of getting truck drivers paid faster. This position involves proactive communication, tracking payment statuses, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance accounts receivable processes.

Responsibilities

• Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment from brokers and carriers.
• Establish and maintain regular communication with brokers and carriers to resolve any payment issues.
• Accurately track, record, and update payment statuses, addressing any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounts receivable processes and improve cash flow.
• Generate and analyze reports on account balances and payment trends, providing actionable insights.
• Assist in developing strategies to minimize overdue accounts and optimize payment collections.
• Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives within the AR department as needed.
