About The Position
The AR Collector position at XL Parts LLC is a full-time role within the Finance division, reporting directly to the AR Manager. The primary purpose of this role is to manage business-to-business collections, ensuring that customer billing issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining and enhancing customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate collections, with a focus on improving payment processes and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing open accounts to identify those requiring collection efforts. This includes making outbound collection calls in a professional manner, negotiating payment terms, and resolving any billing problems that may arise. You will also be tasked with collecting payments in accordance with established payment terms and identifying issues that contribute to account delinquency, discussing these with management as necessary. Additionally, you will monitor assigned accounts in line with company policies, provide timely follow-ups on payment arrangements, and process customer payments as needed. Excellent customer service is a key component of this role, as you will be interacting with both internal and external customers to ensure a positive experience. The position requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changes as they occur.
