About the position

The AR Project Manager will join the Lenses team at Snap Inc., focusing on managing complex augmented reality projects from inception to launch. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project timelines, manage production processes, and communicate progress to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of AR technology and user experience design, along with the ability to innovate and improve project workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to capture project essence and timelines.
• Manage the project process from assessment to launch.
• Communicate and report on project expectations and progress.
• Find solutions to problems and collaborate with team members.
• Generate insights and ideas for Lenses that align with business goals.
• Present plans to stakeholders and drive decision-making.
• Collaborate with UXR to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Help define new processes, workflows, and tools for the team.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a related field such as computer science, digital media, game design, or business.
• 8+ years of experience with project schedule management and work breakdown structures.
• Ability to manage complex projects effectively.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing project strategies.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Understanding of AR/Content user experience design.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with Jira or similar task management software.
