About the position

The Remote Accounts Receivable Representative at Envision Radiology is responsible for managing insurance billing processes, verifying accounts, and generating patient statements. This role involves following up with insurance companies, appealing denied claims, and maintaining confidentiality regarding patient health information. The position is full-time, operating Monday to Friday, and is open to candidates in various states.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with insurance companies on submitted claims.
• Obtain status of payment via phone, email, or website/portal.
• Appeal denied claims.
• Actively work Accounts Receivable to maintain acceptable days in A/R.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Patient Health Information (PHI) and follow HIPAA regulations.
• Identify billing trends such as claim format, denials, and payment issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in the Medical Billing field.
• Knowledge of EOBs (Explanation of Benefits).
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, problem solver, and team player.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
