About the position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a crucial role in the Credit and Accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This position involves processing credit card sales, managing collections, and performing month-end reconciliations, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of credit card processing, including reviewing orders rejected by fraud prevention systems and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage manual credit card transactions and issue credit card refunds.
  • Reconcile PayPal and American Express settlements.
  • Engage in activities to enhance credit card sales growth.
  • Collect and reconcile invoice billings issued to shipment carriers for loss/damage claims.

Requirements

  • Experience in accounts receivable or credit processing.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with fraud prevention systems.
  • Knowledge of sales tax exemption processes.
