About the position

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Arabic language teacher to provide one-to-one tuition for a beginner-level student in Boston, MA. The role involves conducting a 20-hour course consisting of 10 lessons, each lasting 2 hours, scheduled once a week on Saturdays. The ideal candidate should be a native Arabic speaker or hold a teaching degree, with relevant teaching experience and a valid working visa.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-to-one Arabic language lessons for a beginner-level student.
• Prepare lesson plans tailored to the student's needs and learning pace.
• Assess the student's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with the student and their family regarding scheduling and lesson content.

Requirements

• Native speaker of Arabic or hold a teaching degree.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid working visa.
• Reside within 20 miles of the client's location.
