About the position

The position involves managing and resolving field coordination issues within construction projects, utilizing ArcGIS for various Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes. The role is based in Minneapolis, MN, and requires in-office presence from Monday to Friday. The individual will be responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating VDC processes, ensuring effective communication and documentation throughout the construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementing, and coordinating Virtual Design and Construction processes using ArcGIS.
• Providing point of contact for team members on VDC processes and reports during all phases of construction.
• Documenting work processes to improve or change current company process standards.
• Participating in Mortenson's Integrated Delivery Advancement Team community of practice for knowledge sharing.
• Completing daily work planning.

Requirements

• Completion of beginner or intermediate level of BIM/VDC software training.
• Experience with ArcGIS, including mapping skills and managing data sets.
• Ability to train remote teams on ArcGIS mapping.
• Attention to detail to organize and run multiple project tasks.
• Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office and pertinent web applications.
• Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies effectively.
• Previous related internship experience is a plus.
• Current driver's license.
