About the position

The Arcade Mechanical Associate is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and repairing arcade and bowling machines in an amusement arcade environment. This part-time role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer complaints regarding machine malfunctions and analyzes mechanisms to identify issues.
• Assists the Facility Manager with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and circuitry issues in arcade and bowling machines.
• Identifies common problems with components such as controls and audio systems.
• Performs maintenance and repair tasks on arcade and bowling machines.
• Maintains a clean and organized workshop.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Solid communication skills and strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
